is created upon the celebration of Chinese New Year in the Year of the Wooden Dragon. The work depicts a dragon flying in the shape of the number 8, expressed through a diptych to emphasize the doubled eight as a symbol of infinite happiness and continuity.
Like a kite in the wind, flight only exists as long as there is effort to sustain it. The work becomes a reflection on daily discipline and persistence—an acknowledgment that what we wish to elevate must also be continuously carried by our own movement and work.
