Adriel Arizon (b.1992) is a visual artist whose work grows from a life shaped by high standards and competition. From an early age, winning was encouraged while losing was rarely explained. Over time, when achievement began to betray him, he started paying closer attention to the humanity that appears in moments of loss.
These reflections are expressed through humanoid figures enveloped by everyday objects and their familiar properties. His works unfold across a series of paintings that resemble a silent comic. The stories remain open-ended, allowing viewers to reflect upon vulnerability, distance, and the fragile dignity that emerges when success no longer defines us.
